Barbarians!
The 2024-2025 Futsal Season is upon us. We intend to return futsal to the place it
commands. Our continued labor remains in the development and growth of the Club, its
members, and the sport of futsal. We ask simply, as members please provide the level of
commitment to do so.
The Barbarian FC will continue to offer training to all who seek it, no matter their ability. We
abide by our collective efforts to facilitate each member’s development and growth to reach
their potential in this Club.
Several birth years will compete in tournaments. Every member is deemed eligible to
partake even if your birth year is not yet targeted if they complete the survey and are
selected! While we do not hold tryouts, everyone who represents the Barbarian FC in
competitions will be selected by the Coaching staff, not the parents or players.
2010B, 2010G, 2011B, 2012G, and 2014B are in strong consideration for the following
Dates and Locations for these competitive tournaments.
• Capitol Futsal Cup December 13-15 2024 District Heights, Maryland
• Great Lakes Championship January 17-20 Akron, Ohio
• PA West State Cup December/January 24/25 Western PA
• NE Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship February 14-17 Atlantic City, NJ Depending what birth years qualify from the State Cup all will attend!
Each of these tournaments require travel and hotel stays with the State Cup hopefully not.
Fees to be determined are separate and apart from Training Fees and if selected there will
be an additional cost to families.
Training Sessions will be on a weekly basis from November 1 through March 7 with the
exception of holiday weeks. Possible make-up dates will be announced when and if
available, otherwise there are no make-up dates! NONE. Sessions run 2 hours in length
and will begin promptly at their scheduled start time.
Each Survey we do is to enhance our ability to offer the optimum value for your participation
and plan accordingly. Please submit each Survey only once during the open periods.
When completing the Training Survey keep in mind that, when it goes into effect it will be for
at least a month, choose every day of your availability, (or unavailability depending on the
Survey), and for the months of November and December training days are limited to Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays.
Other days of the week will be determined by the logistic and demographic of the
respondents and our ability to address that information. For now, only Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, and Sundays!
It is imperative that Every person show respect to the other, by their commitment to the on
time payment of fees and the obligation inherent in the fulfillment of the highest level work
ethic in training.
Training Fee Payment Schedule is Not Associated to Scheduled Training Dates!
The Payment Schedule for 2024-2025 Training Fee is noted below. Please understand that
this structure is so you and we know how to make certain our obligations are met. No one
should let it be left unsaid if they are having any issues in making a payment, or if there is a
need for leniency for any reason. Your discretion is ours and that information is strictly
confidential! If you are having difficulty, the sooner we know the sooner we can be of
service.

The initial deposit is payable only by check, or money order. Barbarian FC / 1505 Cornell
Street McKeesport, PA 15132-4708. The funds will be deposited immediately after you
receive your ITP! The Training Survey will go live 10/18 and close 10/25. The anticipated
delivery of your ITP is 10/31.
Online payments via Venmo only, beginning for November’s payment and at an additional
cost of $5.00 per transaction, per $100.00 paid. While online payments are a convenient
way for many, the fees associated can no longer be absorbed by the Club.
We may be ambitious in our proposal and effort to facilitate each of you but our focus
remains without complacency to our known obligations. Our objective resides in unyielding
consistency. It is the expense we pay willingly for the growth and development of individuals
and this human condition. Thank you for the opportunity.
